From Canada’s West Coast comes this meditation on the great Ice Storm of 1998. Sound objects derived from the Ice Storm news broadcasts are combined with visuals of highly stylised images of the ice storm, along with images drawn from various sources to underline certain cultural and political lines tied to the phenomenon of weather as a unifying (or dividing) factor in our country. Musique actuelle aesthetic but with a strong electroacoustic feel.
