Sanctuary
noon @ St. Peter's Lutheran Church
free admission
Performing contemplative improvisations based on Gregorian Chant, Sanctuary transcends these ancient materials and fuses them with the colouristic range of contemporary classical music. From Halifax, Sanctuary’s acoustic combination of Jeff Reilly (bass clarinet), Peter Togni (organ), Christoph Both (cello) in a resonant sacred space is lyrical, intense and magical.
