In collaboration with KWCMS, Stereoscope is a creative and quirky saxophone duo, made up of Jacob Armstrong and Olivia Shortt, dedicated to the development of their instrument's repertoire and commissioning composers to write for saxophone. They're not afraid to use electronics, collaborate with dancers and other artists or make new sounds. It's all in a day's work. Above ground they've been featured as part of the Music Gallery's 'Emergents Series' but have also managed to find themselves two kilometres underground doing a recording session of Robert Lemay's Fragments Noirs in Sudbury's SnoLab (an underground science laboratory specializing in neutrino and dark matter physics).
Tickets: $25/$15 general/arts workers & seniors & students
