Flourishing from creative foundations as a drummer and percussionist\, his diverse work as a performer\, composer and researcher pushes the boundaries between audio-visual and electro-acoustic art. Martin’s innovative approach to percussion music utilizes electronic devices; notably\, ongoing research in the development of an ‘augmented drum kit\,’ which combines acoustic drum sounds\, digital samples\, and visual manipulations for a truly unique result.
