SlowPitchSound presents Within Touch

SlowPitchSound’s otherworldly environmentally focused adventure Within Touch is a 50-minute audio/visual performance that features a unique style of musical making, which mirrors the incredible unfurling of the natural world. Within Touch is a multi-sensory show, combining music and visual projections to highlight the importance of the world’s forests, as well as the life forms that inhabit them. The piece is performed using a turntable, looper, drum machine and video camera. During the performance the audience will have a closeup view of SlowPitchSounds (Cheldon Paterson’s) process of storytelling projected on screen. They will witness improvised music and visual compositions created in a very unique way, an art form that SlowPitchSound has been developing for over two decades that he calls “Sci-fi Turntablism”.
